12/12/2011Please note the following items in preparation for year end from SCM Accounts Payable: • Invoices receipt cutoff Dec. 14 (invoices rec’d after this date are not guaranteed to be posted by year end) • No immediate payments (COD, advance payments, deposits) will be made the week of 12/26-12/30. • The last payments for 2011 will be sent out on December 30th. • AP will be out of the office from 12/26 – 01/03. Please email payment_inquiry@hawkerbeechcraft.com as this account will be monitored.
12/12/2011November SRS is now available: 3 Month SRS Scores will reflect September, October, and November. 12 Month SRS Scores will equal 3 Month Scores until there is enough data to average 12 months. You have until 12/31/11 to make any changes to Delivery for Sept, Oct, and Nov.
12/01/2011The NEW Supplier Profile web application is now live! Suppliers can access the application by clicking Supplier Profile at the top of the page and can update/review the following information: • Update company information (address changes, name changes, etc.) • Review contacts (suppliers can update their own contact information as well as add users) • Update certifications (suppliers will complete at initial set up and then be contacted annually to update debarment, DDTC registration, business size, number of employees, parent company, affirmative action, etc.; Buyers can also review this Supplier information via the web application). • Find your Buyers (buyer contact info is displayed for the supplier) Training is located next to the View Guide beginning on page 18.

08/10/2011Please note a new North American Freight Routing Guide has been posted and includes changes to the Grapevine shipments (the requirement directing local suppliers to ship goods to Wichita via Air Freight Central for consolidation prior to final shipment to Grapevine has been removed, which will allow suppliers to follow the standard routing terms and ship direct to Grapevine.)

07/13/2011Dock Closing Alert: HBC will be implementing a new SAP ERP system, August 1, 2011, and migrating data for the new system July 28th-July 31st. During this migration time, we will not be able to accept deliveries. For any additional questions, please contact your applicable HBC Buyer. Thank you for your understanding during our system upgrade!

12/09/2010Attention Suppliers – HBC currently requires Warranty evaluations to be completed within 30 days of the part being returned. In order to be proactive, HBC will now be sending an automated email reminder on all Warranty purchase orders that are close to exceeding this requirement. HBC reserves the right to process any return exceeding the 30 days as a credit to HBC; therefore, we hope this addition to the work flow will be a benefit to all suppliers. 09/17/2010Alert! A new feature has been added to the eProcurement Document List to allow for both Suppliers and Buyers to add comments to a purchase order. The system does not send notifications when comments are added at this time and will keep track of how many comments are unread by user profile.

Barcodes are mandatory utilizing the HBC eProcurement website. In addition to other required markings/labels, each shipment must be identified with a barcode as provided by the HBC eProcurement website. Barcodes are to be created using the ASN (Advanced Shipment Notification) process through the HBC eProcurement website. Supplier questions on packaging/marking/labeling/hazardous materials should be emailed to SCM_eProcurement@hawkerbeechcraft.com.

In order to create an ASN, you must have a Hawker Beechcraft web account. If you are a supplier and do not have access to this portal, you can Request Access. The new bar code instructions supercede the Supplier Delivery Requirements Specification (SDRS) instructions on bar-coding, located in the Specifications Section of the site.
